The Intermittent 2 Pack Bottle Carrier Applicator automatically applies 2 Pack Bottle Carriers to bottles for multi-packing and can be directly integrated into any conveyor line.

The Intermittent 2 Pack Applicator applies carriers to bottles already placed in shipping cases. The Carrier Applicator is a free-standing unit designed to be mounted at the case loader exit, upstream from the case sealer and/or palletizer. Open top cases of product are metered onto the applicator conveyor and held in place by a bottle grouping mechanism. Each twin pack carrier is automatically picked from the bottom of the magazine by three vacuum cups.

The carriers are then turned 180 degrees and applied onto the bottles by the applicator plates. Once the vacuum applicator plate arms have returned to their home positions, the bottle grouping mechanism retracts to discharge the case onto the customer's conveyor. The applicator can apply 2 pack carriers to cases with various bottle configurations and can run various carrier sizes.

• In-line speeds up to 20 cases per minute.

• The Applicator runs either bail or tab style carriers.

• Carriers are applied to bottles in their open topped tray or shipping case just before the cases are sealed and/or palletized.
